New shipments of plants

We had several loads of nursery stock arrive this week – new evergreens and shrubs. The hardy Azaleas are starting to bloom – a great addition to a shady yard. If you are planting a garden this Spring, we still have a good selection of vegetable starts. The trees in the photo are the aptly named ‘Showtime Crabapple’.

Mother’s Day all week, but not on Sunday

Mother’s Day is always our busiest, happiest day of the year – lots of families and crowds. It is impossible to keep social distance, so we’ve decided to celebrate all week – Monday through Saturday, and we will be closed on Sunday May 10th. Hanging baskets are on sale, and we have a free 4″ fuchsia for all moms who visit this week (while supplies last). We’re going to miss the fun, but look forward to seeing everyone spread out through the week.

Bareroot Plant Sale begins!

We have started digging our field, and expect additional shipments next week. By the 2nd of April, there should be a pretty big selection of bareroot trees, shrubs and fruit trees. During this period of self isolation, you can call in an order for pick-up, if you prefer. We are continuing normal hours, and cleaning more intensively. Planting and gardening are positive things we can do right now.
